Springing Into Summer!

We had a fantastic spring at Novo and are eagerly looking forward to what our summer will hold! Read below for some highlights of our spring events as well as upcoming summer festivities!

NEW Teachers, NEW classes!

We are thrilled to have added some amazing teachers to our team! Katelyn and Courtney are now officially on our schedule teaching tap n’ pow{h}er, and Lane taught her first Piloxing class last week! Each of these ladies add so much to our studio – not only are they fantastic instructors, but they bring so much life and love into our community!

In addition to our new teachers, we added new classes and brought back some old favorites! Our schedule now consists of over 11 DIFFERENT class types, all within the BarreAmped and tap n’ pow{h}er methods (outside of our Piloxing classes). We’ve got you covered from new low-impact, slow-burning classes such as hold n’ pow{h}er, to new fast-paced, high-intensity, cardio classes like BarreAmped Fire!


In March, we hosted our second tap n’ pow{h}er teacher training at Novo, in which Courtney and Katelyn certified (among others), and in April, we welcomed teacher-trainer Lori Winter to Novo to take some of our instructors through Advanced, Bootcamp, Extreme Cardio, and Fire for BarreAmped.

While hosting the training, Lori taught our first EVER BarreAmped Fire class, which was complete with a tornado drill! It was truly a class to remember!

Power Hour Series

This spring, we also completed our first ever Power Hour Series, which featured special 1 1/2 hour classes, free for our clients. We were blown away by the participation in this series and are already making plans for our next set of Power Hour sessions!

Mother’s Day tap n’ pow{h}er class

For Mother’s Day, we hosted a special mother/daughter tap n’ pow{h}er class for our clients. It was a wonderful time of bonding and celebrating motherhood, and we so enjoyed getting to meet our clients’ sweet girls and mothers!

Spring Into Summer Total Body Challenge!

We have officially wrapped up our second annual Spring Into Summer challenge, and what a wonderful 6 weeks we had! Clients were challenged with a nutrition plan based on whole foods and healthy, balanced eating, and were encouraged to attend 5+ classes a week. We were so excited to see 58 participants start the challenge with us! Though not all of them stuck with it 100% for the entire duration of the challenge, we heard countless testimonials of success from the participants. From clothes fitting better (even fitting in pre-baby clothes!) to definition in muscles, to learning how to incorporate juicing into day-to-day life, participants gained knowledge and saw and felt results!

A huge congratulations to our super-star client, Renee Bunn, for winning this year’s challenge! Renee lost over 7 inches total, and will be awarded three FREE months at Novo!



Summer Attendance Challenge –Want to win a free month at Novo? The client who attends the most classes for the month of June will be given one FREE unlimited month added to her next contract! We will repeat this challenge for the month of July as well! You have two chances to win, so start scheduling those classes now!

Move Through Midnight Fundraiser  (6/5 -6/6)- We are honored to host a fundraiser for Camp Joy, a free children’s camp for kids in our community! The camp is in need of life vests and bicycles, and we are doing our best to meet that need for them. We are asking for a minimum $20.00 donation to participate in our first “Move Through Midnight” Fundraiser. We will kick off the fun at 9pm on June 5th, with our first 30-minute class starting at 9:30pm. 30-minute class sessions will run on the half hour through 12:30am on June 6th. One donation allows you to participate in any/all sessions you’d like! Come join the party, sample shorter classes, interact with many of our teachers and clients, and give to an amazing cause!

tap n’ pow{h}er Summer Camp (6/22-25, 7/13-16) – Novo is excited to bring some younger faces into our studio! This summer, we will be offering two opportunities for pre-teen girls (ages 8-14) to participate in our first ever tap n’ pow{h}er summer camp! Each camp is 4 days, from 1pm-3:30pm, and will teach participants all about the method, from the creation of the method to the various exercises used, and will include a daily 1-hour tap n’ pow{h}er class, team building and creative activities, snacks, and emphasis on empowering women (starting at a young age) by building self-confidence and worth! Our June camp is almost full, but we are still taking reservations for both dates! Email us for more information or reserve your child’s spot online at
