“How We Spent Our Summer”

We spent our summer sweating, shaking, and sizzling at Novo!  We were happy to continue #shakingtochange with our “long-time” clients, and were thrilled to welcome so many new faces to Novo as well! We are going to miss our students who were home for the summer, but we are looking forward to seeing them on fall break when they come back home. As they say, there’s no place like Novo!

We challenged our clients with our “Summer Sizzle” giveaway for the month of June and the month of July.  The top five clients with the highest attendance for each month were entered into a drawing to win a free unlimited month! We were amazed at the dedication and commitment of our clients – they took this challenge on full speed, with some clients coming to two classes a day! A big congrats to our June Winner, Neely, and our July Winner, Christine. They each had over 18 classes for their month, plus received bonus points for attending advanced and extreme cardio classes!

     

We were excited to welcome two great groups for small, private classes. In June we hosted an energized, focused group of ladies from The Beauty Shop in Columbus, and in July we hosted a group from Teen Advisors in Columbus. We are always thrilled to meet new groups of people and introduce them to BarreAmped and Novo!

We were happy to donate a 5 class package to Paws Humane for their “Applause for Paws” Fundraiser in August! Make sure you attend this great event and help support Paws! Find out more about them here http://pawshumane.org/

Just recently, we added a fourth teacher in training to our Novo staff! We are so excited to welcome Jasmine Carter as our newest apprentice here, joining Ashleigh, Katie, and Haley! They will all go next week for their 3 day certification in Nashville. We are so excited for them to come back, continue observing, start co-teaching, and then start to take over classes! They bring so much love, happiness, and warmth to Novo and we can’t wait to watch them soar!

What a memorable first summer we had at Novo! We continue to be amazed at the wonderful people who walk through our doors, and thankful for such a warm, loving community they have helped to create here.

Our excitement continues into the fall with a new schedule (with 5 new classes), and our awesome teachers ready to take over. Stay tuned for details about our rewards program we are launching and our 6 week total body transformation challenge, starting in September!
