Hi, I'm Ellen
I’m just an informed, natural minded momma who aims to inspire and empower other moms to take charge of their health and wellness for their families. I believe as moms we are called to be the gatekeepers of our families. I believe it’s our duty to advocate for our littles and seek to raise our families holistically. I am passionate about encouraging other like-minded mommas to confidentially make informed decisions as they navigate the journey of both learning and unlearning.
I go against the grain, challenge the norm, ask questions, and seek to understand the “why”. I believe “no” is a complete sentence, that a mother’s intuition is the most powerful tool, and that gut health and inflammation are the root of all health concerns.
I believe that God designed our bodies to work together beautifully and that when it comes to addressing root cause, a holistic scope is essential in understanding how everything is so intertwined.
Personally, we don’t live by the 80/20 rule in our family, largely because we weren’t able to for so long due to the decisions we’ve had to make when healing, but also, I believe when you know better, you genuinely want to do better. We’ve lived and breathed those adaptations we implemented in our home and lifestyle for so many years that, for us, it feels good and comes with such an ease at this point. I have firsthand watched our lives change and healing take place from living a very low-tox life and healing holistically. I say “low-tox” though most of the products in our home are non-tox, because living 100% toxin-free isn’t attainable in the world we live in today.
Whether I’m putting my bare feet in the dirt, detoxing in an Epsom salt bath, promoting new cell growth in our red light sauna, eating organ meat that we cooked in our nontoxic cookware, drinking from our Berkey, using silicone reusable bags, showering in our filtered water, re-organizing our herbs and homeopathy, or cleaning with our nontoxic products, I am fully dedicated to optimal health and wellness. For our family, it’s become our way of life over the years. I’m incredibly grateful for the awareness and confidence we have to make the choices that serve our health and family best.

Our Healing Journey
In January of 2022, our precious son, Leo was born. I spent my entire pregnancy researching, learning, and advocating for him. I’d never prepared so hard for anything in my life, but nothing could’ve prepared me for how the most beautifully, joyful, and holy season of becoming a new mom would simultaneously be the most challenging and difficult season I’d walked.
